COUNTERSINKS & SIZING: All of our threaded barbell shafts are measured to take into account the countersink present on the matching threaded beads. This countersink is present to ensure that the final piece of jewelry is smooth, free from sharp edges, and free from gaps between the threaded ends and barbell shaft. Without a countersunk end the barbell shaft may measure slightly longer than advertised.
Barbell shaft sizes refer to the size of the complete, full assembled barbell with countersunk beads.
